I was thinking today while watching Judge Shows, how there a ton of commericals featuring washed up actors/actresses pitching medicaid, life insurance and diabetes testing supplies to old folks who are retired and most likely watching TV during the day. Lou Rawls wants you to get "quality life insurance", Delta Burke and Wilford Brimley are pushing the testing supplies from Liberty Medical, Bernie Koppel from the Love Boat is shilling some prescription plan for old heads, it's a circus out there.
Considering that these has beens are all over the TV in 2005 ptiching products to the senior set, I was thinking about what the future holds for us when we hit 50-60 years of age. Who will be hawking old people junk to us on the tube? Okay, we have Lou Rawls now, so maybe we'll get R. Kelly to inform us of our life insurance options in the future. Kellie Martin or the girl from 7th Heaven that isn't Jessica Beil can push diabetes supplies. Maybe Dawson Leary's Dad could help out with that. Data from Star Trek the New Generation will inform us about prescription plans. Can you see it?
