Overcast

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but why is always cloudy when I have off from work? Is Philadelphia offended that after 33 years I'm picking up anchor and moving on? I suppose. In any case, let me put on some Smiths and do some house cleaning and laundry. Something about listening to the Smiths while cleaning makes me feel regal. I should really thank Freddie Pop Tart for mentioning how he wants to buy a 12" of This Charming Man for his Dj collection and getting my ears all wet for the strains of Morrissey.

In hot water news, after only 3 calls and 2 visits from a so-called professional, I am once again amongst the masses that clean their bodies daily. Cold showers can be refreshing, but not after sleeping with windows open while the tempature creeps down to 44 degrees. And maybe now the food won't stick to my "clean" dishes. You trying washing stuck on mac and cheese shit off of a plate in cold water!

I was taking stock of what I have packed away in between bouts of mopping and dusting today. I'm trying to see what I can throw away before I move. I got a bunch of clothes for the brothers to inherit. Oh and I'm trying to locate a baby photo of myself for a contest at work. A couple years ago, when I worked at Prudential, I brought in a picture of myself from 2nd Grade and managed to not get one person to guess it was me. A fucking shut out. Am I that different looking? I supposed 250 lbs and a goatee later will make it hard to see what lies beneath. In any case, we had an 80's day at work last week that I neglected to participate in due to the whole hot water situation and today while rummaging I came across my collector's souviner booklet purchased in 1987 at a Whitesnake show. I think that would have really gone over well had I managed to locate it before the event.
